This full-time position provides an opportunity for a compassionate professional to deliver specialized mental health care remotely from Mesa, Arizona. Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your own home while serving the Mesa community. You'll benefit from a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where teamwork and communication are emphasized. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible evening shifts as dictated by patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific mental health challenges.

• Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, tailored to the unique requirements of each child and adolescent.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the tools needed to create nurturing environments.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each patient receives integrated and cohesive care.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, supporting children and families during critical moments.

• Educate young clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower informed choices.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all counseling sessions in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.

• Engage in routine team meetings and case consultations, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychology to enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will engage with families to create effective support systems that promote the wellbeing of young patients. By collaborating with families and schools, you'll enhance the therapeutic process and contribute to the community’s understanding of mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• Deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and best therapeutic practices.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy, particularly for young clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy is essential.

• Ability to build rapport with children and their families, fostering trust and open communication.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset with the capability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, particularly focused on children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, complemented by various bonuses.
