Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and document case histories from the initial assessment through treatment completion.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans that include appropriate interventions and recovery strategies, tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster healing and personal growth.

• Track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to optimize client care.

• Manage referrals to specialists when necessary and ensure that clients receive comprehensive care throughout their treatment journey.

• Proactively identify and mitigate barriers to recovery, offering guidance to clients and their families during challenging times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact our diverse patient population, which includes children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Being attuned to the nuances of mental health across age groups and backgrounds is essential, as well as possessing the sensitivity to address underlying physical health issues that may complicate emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Arizona as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting as a mental health counselor or equivalent role.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to efficiently manage client information.

• Experience dealing with co-occurring disorders and an understanding of the impact of prescribed medications on client treatment plans.

• Knowledge of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with exceptional interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
