Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the specific needs of each child and adolescent.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy effectively to treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for young clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Stay informed of current research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral disturbances. The therapeutic interventions provided aim to foster resilience and coping strategies, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of life for both young individuals and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrable knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in providing psychotherapy and family therapy to children and adolescents, with a proven track record of effective outcomes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients and families.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems and general computer applications.

• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team while independently managing a clinical caseload.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a generous sign-on bonus.
