Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to developmental considerations, family dynamics, and unique patient histories.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, addressing a diverse range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers to foster healthy relationships and environments.

• Collaborate effectively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and holistic care plan for each patient.

• Respond effectively to mental health crises involving children and adolescents, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources to empower them in their care.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations as well as ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral issues. You will work not just with young individuals, but also with families, ensuring a supportive framework around each patient to promote healthier outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with strong familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with a unique ability to establish rapport and trust.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and applicable technology to manage patient information.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Experience in a community health setting or similar environment that emphasizes holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
