Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote and leverages telehealth technology to deliver therapy sessions to our clients. You will interact with patients through a secure platform, ensuring confidentiality and ease of access to mental health services. The ability to work from home allows flexibility and promotes a healthy work-life balance while you focus on enhancing the mental well-being of children and adolescents. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of children and adolescents, considering their developmental stages and family contexts.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that effectively address identified mental health issues, using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Deliver family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication and support among family members, helping them foster a nurturing environment for the young ones.

• Collaborate with a team of experienced child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response for at-risk youth.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to support their journey to recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights, enhance treatment strategies, and support professional development.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will engage with young patients in a supportive and understanding manner, fostering trust and rapport essential for effective therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly with child and adolescent populations.

• A strong knowledge base in child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient in providing individual and family therapeutic sessions, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.

• Ability to build rapport and trust, establishing effective therapeutic relationships with young clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
