This position offers flexible remote work options, giving you the ability to manage your schedule while maintaining a robust connection with our outpatient team. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that account for each patient’s developmental stage and family context.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address various mental health issues, ensuring treatment is age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide coordinated, holistic care for all patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and support to children and adolescents during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around providing mental health support to children and adolescents facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your work will involve engaging with young clients in a therapeutic context while also supporting their families in overcoming challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. By fostering positive relationships and establishing trust, you will play a pivotal role in the healing and developmental process for your patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Illinois.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and child and adolescent mental health disorders.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy, especially for children and adolescents.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish meaningful connections with clients and their families using a compassionate, child-centric approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
