Work Environment\n

This role is structured to allow for remote work, providing a flexible work setting that adapts to the needs of both our clients and team members. While the majority of sessions will be conducted virtually, our therapists are encouraged to facilitate meaningful connections through online platforms and engage with the family units of patients effectively. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings necessary to accommodate client schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to evaluate needs and formulate effective intervention strategies.

• Design and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Provide a broad spectrum of therapy options, including individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention. Sessions will aim to equip clients with coping mechanisms for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with our esteemed team of child psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care, integrating insights from multiple disciplines.

• Engage parents and caregivers in therapy sessions, providing them with tools and education to foster healthy family environments and promote their child’s mental health.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations, contributing to collaborative care discussions and sharing insights into best practices.

• Commit to ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and continuing education opportunities, staying abreast of the latest advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, ages 5-17, who may be grappling with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. You will also work with their families, helping to address the broader dynamics that can influence these young individuals' mental health. This dual focus ensures that treatment is holistic and deeply informed by the context of each child’s life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Georgia.

• A well-rounded understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders coupled with practical experience in applying evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents in clinical settings.
