Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to determine the psychological needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and professional judgment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, isolating factors such as developmental stages and family systems to create a holistic approach.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy sessions, group therapies, and family therapy, to equip young individuals with coping skills and strategies for mental wellness.

• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency support to families dealing with acute mental health challenges, ensuring immediate and effective responses.

• Educate patients and caregivers on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to empower families in health decision-making.

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will support both patients and their families, guiding them through the therapeutic process and fostering an atmosphere of trust and empowerment. Your insight and interventions will play a pivotal role in enhancing emotional and psychological resilience among young individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, with a solid foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities.
