Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans for clients across varying age groups and backgrounds.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities supported by evidence, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to meet each client's specific needs.

• Provide group, family, couples, and individual therapy sessions that empower clients to achieve their treatment goals.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive client care and effective treatment planning.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and continuing education to stay updated on mental health research and strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges. Our patient population may deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. The counselor's commitment to establishing rapport and trust will be vital in creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, with additional bonus opportunities available.
