Staff Accountant

Position Overview:

A growing healthcare management company is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations across a portfolio of assisted living facilities.

This role is ideal for a motivated and responsible professional who is eager to learn, enjoys working with numbers, and wants to grow within an expanding organization. Training will be provided, and candidates with strong office or accounting experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with AP - enter invoices, make payments, and record in QuickBooks
• Assist with AR - enter deposits in QuickBooks
• Reconcile invoices and vendor statements
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment and account inquiries
• Support reporting and other accounting functions as needed
• Work closely with finance leadership on special projects

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or office experience preferred
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
• Basic proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Quick learner with strong follow-through
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• QuickBooks experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
• $50,000-$65,000 salary (based on experience)
