Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately understand clients' mental health needs, concerns, and goals, utilizing standardized tools and interviewing techniques.

• Provide empathetic one-on-one counseling sessions addressing a diverse array of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.

• Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions to navigate relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family conflicts, using evidence-based approaches.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, setting clear and measurable objectives to monitor progress.

• Offer crisis intervention and support, guiding clients through immediate mental health challenges and emergency situations with expertise and care.

• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements, in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at New Horizons, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications\n
