Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and families to identify their mental health needs and goals.

• Provide individual and family therapy, tailoring your therapeutic approach based on the unique needs and preferences of each client.

• Complete comprehensive documentation, including billing and insurance authorization forms, within specified time frames.
\n
• Develop and monitor crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to ensure clients maintain stability and well-being.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that facilitate ongoing care and connection to community resources.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, including NEHS policies and procedures, to ensure the highest standards of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and departmental meetings to foster collaborative decision-making.
\n
• Commit to professional growth by participating in continuing education and training opportunities.

• Maintain all licensure requirements and mandatory training to uphold professional standards.

Your ideal candidates will include individuals and families seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that fulfills licensing requirements.

• Active licensure as a mental health therapist in Maryland (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C).

• 1-3 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within a telehealth setting.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and provide culturally competent care.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing.
