IT Systems Support SpecialistBirmingham, ALWe are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support and assist with maintaining the company's Windows-based IT infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for computers, applications, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and connectivity issues.Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and endpoint devices.Perform routine Windows Server and Hyper-V administration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, switches, and firewalls.Monitor backups and assist with restores and recovery procedures.Maintain IT documentation and assist with IT projects as needed.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365. Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management preferred. Basic knowledge of networking, VPN, DNS, DHCP, switches, and firewalls. Familiarity with Windows Server and Hyper-V. Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize service requests, and manage multiple tasks.
