Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients through virtual platforms.

• Embrace a client-centered approach to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each client's specific needs, objectives, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting methods as necessary for virtual engagement.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing treatment options and self-care strategies to foster optimal mental health.

• Regularly monitor and assess clients' progress, utilizing clinical judgment to make adjustments to treatment strategies when needed.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive integrated care that addresses both psychological and physical health concerns.

• Remain informed on the latest research and treatment methodologies for mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in mental health treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working towards the destigmatization of mental health issues and promoting awareness of their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse clients dealing with mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology, with the capacity to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
