Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop tailored safety plans for clients, ensuring that their needs are thoroughly understood and addressed.
\n
• Document all client interactions on the same day, particularly for individuals who may be at an increased risk for crisis intervention, thereby enhancing timely treatment and support.
\n
• Complete critical incident reporting forms within a 24-hour time frame when serious issues arise, maintaining our commitment to safety and accountability.
\n
• Provide after-hours phone support on an alternating schedule, assisting with care coordination and ensuring continuity of care for clients.
\n
• Engage proactively with clients to prevent the need for crisis services, fostering coping strategies and resilience through therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date crisis alerts for coordination with county crisis services, ensuring seamless communication and support for participants.
\n
• Coordinate and document transitions between hospital and outpatient services, working in tandem with hospital staff to facilitate client discharges effectively.
\n
• Utilize advanced crisis de-escalation skills to provide support to individuals in distress, serving as the Clinician of the Day and overseeing the milieu environment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid independent license in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, is required.

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to perform complex mental tasks involving critical thinking, empathetic communication, and flexible analysis in high-stress situations.

• Capability to balance multiple priorities effectively while ensuring high-quality service delivery in a busy caseload environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in outpatient settings, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
