Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, including their strengths, emotional challenges, and specific needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and assessment outcomes, incorporating evidence-based approaches.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to address diverse client needs.

• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, meticulously documenting changes and adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a diverse population of clients dealing with a range of mental health concerns, particularly mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. You will work with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficient understanding and application of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
