Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to effectively gauge client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that address their unique circumstances.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches, adjusting techniques as needed to best serve each individual.

• Engage in continuous collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, actively seeking input to ensure that clients receive holistic and comprehensive support through their therapeutic journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document progress and manage care efficiently.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support, ensuring timely responses to clients in distress and helping them regain a sense of safety and stability during critical situations.

• Regularly participate in professional development opportunities, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families from varying backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This role requires a strong commitment to cultural competence and the ability to provide inclusive, affirming care that recognizes the varied experiences and identities of clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services preferred, with a focus on individualized care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
