Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of clients to understand their mental health status and needs, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing various evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Maintaining detailed and compliant clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices in documentation.

• Engaging in collaborative care, working closely with other professionals in the treatment team to deliver a cohesive and effective therapeutic experience for patients.

• Facilitating educational initiatives for patients and their families about mental health, treatment pathways, and available community resources to encourage informed decision-making and active participation in recovery.

• Participating in regular peer consultations and team meetings to continually enhance service delivery and best practices.

• Keeping abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices, integrating new knowledge into treatment sessions to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, primarily focusing on individuals in various stages of detox and recovery from substance use disorders, alongside those addressing co-occurring mental health concerns. Your empathetic approach combined with clinical expertise will help to support these individuals as they strive for mental well-being and stability during a pivotal time in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• At least three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy services, particularly within outpatient or detox environments.

• Strong knowledge of solution-focused therapy modalities and a proven ability to implement these interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience\n
