Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite in Baltimore, MD, where our pediatric services are delivered in the comfort of our patients’ homes. Unlike traditional medical practices, our concierge model allows us to offer personalized care through house calls, ensuring that families receive convenient and accessible healthcare solutions. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and medical staff, within a system designed to enhance productivity and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to pediatric patients, utilizing your in-depth knowledge in pediatric primary health care to manage well-child visits, immunizations, and treatment of acute illnesses.
• Conduct thorough assessments that address physical, psychological, and social needs of children, ensuring a holistic approach to health maintenance and disease management.
• Perform essential therapeutic procedures including vaccinations, suture removals, wound care, and management of infections.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, documenting patient progress and facilitating continuity of care through regular follow-ups.
• Engage with families to instruct and counsel them on patient care instructions, normal developmental milestones, emotional support, and health maintenance strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records, oversee follow-up referrals, and participate in collaborative discussions with physicians on patient management and charting clarity.
• Adhere to the healthcare center’s productivity standards as set by senior management and participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, striving to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from newborns to young adults, encompassing a variety of healthcare needs including acute and chronic conditions, developmental stages, and preventative care measures. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred, along with current RN and NP licensure issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a pediatric setting is required.
• Current certifications from recognized nursing boards, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, are highly valued.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a medical team are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a concierge medicine or house-call practice is a plus, as it demonstrates adaptability to a non-traditional care model that prioritizes patient convenience and comprehensive assessments in home settings.

Compensation and Benefits

Pedi Well Pediatric Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $126,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
