About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief of Staff and CEO across a range of strategic and operational activities. This high-impact, hands-on position involves executive office operations, executive communications, and essential administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operating cadence of the executive office, coordinating CEO-facing priorities, and preparing senior leaders for key decisions and engagements. The role also includes managing the CEO and Chief of Staff's schedules, coordinating business travel, and handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion. The Associate Chief of Staff will lead cross-functional initiatives, synthesize complex information, and own defined executive office workstreams. The ideal candidate for the Associate Chief of Staff role at the company will have an MBA and a bachelor's degree, with a background in management or strategy consulting, life sciences, corporate strategy, business operations, business development, investor relations, finance, or a comparable fast-paced environment. Experience in a publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical company is preferred. The role requires exceptional judgment, maturity, and discretion, as well as high emotional intelligence and strong situational awareness. The candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and accountable, with excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations and to work effectively with senior executives and board members.
