This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility and a balanced work-life setup. However, you will also be connecting with clients through our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, ensuring strategies align with their unique needs and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusted according to patient feedback and progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, promoting self-care strategies to enhance their mental health.

• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for an integrated approach to care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including vulnerable populations such as refugees, domestic violence victims, and those facing homelessness. A compassionate, empathetic approach is paramount, as many of these individuals are in critical situations impacting their mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
