Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive, and strength-based assessments for new clients and families to identify their specific mental health needs.

• Provide both individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique requirements of each patient, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to facilitate effective treatment.

• Manage all necessary documentation including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring they are completed within specified time frames.

• Develop comprehensive crisis intervention and safety plans for clients when needed, as well as relapse prevention, wellness, and discharge plans.

• Continuously adhere to federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, ensuring compliance in all therapeutic practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions and continuing education programs to maintain licensure and enhance your skills.

• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to promote team collaboration and the sharing of best practices.

• Fulfill all mandatory training requirements to uphold the standards of care and professional ethics within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse client population, addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field required for licensure.

• Licensure in the state of Maryland as a Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is preferred.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the impact of cultural factors on mental health treatment.
