Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and abled risk assessments to identify patient needs accurately.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific aspirations and cultural contexts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) across diverse settings, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.

• Offer timely crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute distress and liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, encompassing progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries per our clinic policies and regulatory standards.

• Enhance patient knowledge through psychoeducation for clients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them with practical strategies for managing their well-being.

• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, case managers, and nurses, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Preferred Experience\n
