Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive treatment and care plans for patients, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and goals.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with their healthcare providers to maintain a coordinated approach to therapy.
• Implement a variety of treatment strategies utilizing orthopedic assessment techniques and methodologies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize independent judgment and critical thinking skills to adapt treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with orthopedic patients who may be recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our diverse clientele includes athletes, seniors, and individuals requiring rehabilitation to improve their physical capabilities. Focus will be on delivering effective interventions that enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function, utilizing a combination of hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic and outpatient settings.
