Work Environment

The clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured yet dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on recovery and health promotion, utilizing effective therapy techniques.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality outcomes through efficient time management.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and treatment adjustments, while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers, discussing patient updates and collaborating on treatment strategies.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery process.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practices in physical therapy to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients within the outpatient setting, specifically those dealing with orthopedic conditions. You will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, allowing you to develop a wide-ranging skill set in physical rehabilitation. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain their independence and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of physical therapy, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Clean record free from disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a hands-on approach to rehabilitation.
• Strong ability to work autonomously while also being an effective team player.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years in a relevant role is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized treatment areas, such as sports rehabilitation or geriatric care, will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
