Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms thoroughly.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and establish comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on your assessments.
• Guide patients through specialized therapeutic exercises while ensuring they utilize proper techniques to maximize effectiveness and safety.
• Implement various modalities such as manual therapy, massage, and equipment-assisted therapies to promote healing and rehabilitation.
• Assist patients in using mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers, fostering independence and confidence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment goals and progress to inform ongoing care.
• Advise patients and their families about in-home treatment options and provide education on exercises to continue their recovery journey outside the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily benefit a wide range of patients, from children to adults, presenting various physical challenges. Whether treating sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation needs, or chronic pain syndromes, you'll be instrumental in helping patients regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and data tracking.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, ensuring personalized treatment delivery.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with specialized treatment methodologies or certifications (e.g., orthopedic, pediatric therapy) will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
