Inside Sales Representative - Patient Access

Inside Sales Representative supporting patient access and billing operations for diabetes therapies at Medtronic's San Juan office. The role combines insurance verification, claims processing, reimbursement issue resolution, and inside sales activities to help patients access diabetes equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Process daily billing transactions for diabetes equipment and supplies with accuracy and payer compliance
• Verify insurance authorizations, eligibility, and medical documentation prior to claim submission
• Resolve billing discrepancies, rejected claims, and reimbursement issues
• Manage payer benefit verification and authorization processes supporting patient therapy access
• Collaborate across Sales, Reimbursement, Finance, and Customer Service teams on access barriers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in inside sales, reimbursement, billing, or healthcare operations
• Conversational English communication skills at minimum B2 level
• Experience with medical insurance plans, reimbursement processes, or patient access programs
• Phone-based or remote customer interaction experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software applications
