Work Environment\n

This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while also involving occasional in-office responsibilities. Our modern outpatient facility is equipped with the resources necessary for effective therapy sessions, including access to electronic health record (EHR) systems and confidential documentation resources. Team members enjoy a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts available to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the psychological needs and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and consider family dynamics and developmental stages.

• Provide holistic therapeutic interventions including individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention as necessary.

• Deliver family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to support their children's mental health effectively.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and cohesive care for all patients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for further support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation aligned with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavior disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure in the state of Illinois as either a LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy in clinical settings.

• Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to connect empathetically with young clients and their families.

• Aptitude for building trust and rapport with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
