Regenerative Medical Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our child and adolescent psychiatry team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health care in a remote outpatient setting, focusing on the psychological well-being of young individuals facing various mental health challenges. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed.

Our outpatient office in Joliet, Illinois, is equipped with the necessary tools to facilitate both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and support systems within the family structure.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care that encompasses all aspects of the patient’s life.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical mandates.

• Actively engage in team meetings and case consults to foster a collaborative environment and share knowledge.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health through continual education and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Our therapists are committed to providing a safe space for young patients, helping them navigate their thoughts and feelings through therapeutic support. By addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental and emotional well-being of the youth in our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Minimum two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on child and adolescent populations.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and a thorough knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience providing both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to create a trusting and empathetic relationship with young clients and their families.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a pediatric or family-focused mental health setting.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools.
\n
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or family systems theory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
