As a remote position, you can engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at Tarrant, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
\n
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing trauma.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to provide patients with necessary coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention support during moments of trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms while providing information about additional resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research in trauma therapy.

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.

• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome applications from all licensed candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous.
