Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Ortholand Therapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patient conditions, reviewing medical history, and utilizing various assessment tools to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicating evaluation findings and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families while actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Executing treatment protocols tailored to each patient's specific needs, adjusting approaches based on clinical responses and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborating with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing changes in patient conditions, and modifying treatment plans accordingly.
• Documenting all patient care activities accurately, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to maintain compliance with legal and accreditation standards.
• Efficiently managing your time and schedules to adhere to productivity expectations while ensuring that patient care remains the top priority.
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives through strategic planning and collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass providing care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our commitment to treating community members encompasses a personalized approach that prioritizes each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals, ensuring holistic recovery and support.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license appropriate for Virginia, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates eager to learn and grow within our organization. Clinical internships and relevant coursework will also be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
