Work Environment

As part of our team, you will work in a vibrant and supportive rehabilitation facility in Winchester, Virginia. With a standard Monday to Friday schedule encompassing 40 hours per week, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in physical therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across a variety of specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every patient feels welcomed and valued.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes with a focus on effective communication and best practices.
• Deliver skilled therapy in various settings, including patient homes, applying techniques aligned with physicians' treatment plans.
• Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers about their recovery process and self-management strategies.
• Achieve utilization targets and contribute to business objectives through effective case management and patient engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, developmental delays in children, neurological conditions, and athletes recovering from sports-related injuries. You will engage with each patient to establish trust and rapport, enabling them to achieve and exceed their functional goals. Your personalized approach will help empower patients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic word processing skills.
