• Conduct thorough mental health assessments with children and adolescents to identify unique needs and challenges.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that take developmental stages and family circumstances into account, ensuring optimal support for each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, to effectively treat various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Provide family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing the support systems around our young clients, enabling parents and caregivers to create nurturing environments.

• Work collaboratively with our child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination for each patient.

• Respond to mental health crises with timely intervention, offering immediate support and guidance during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take active roles in their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring all communications are secure and respectful of privacy.

The primary focus of our practice involves working with children and adolescents experiencing a spectrum of mental health challenges. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in New York.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy; demonstrated rapport with children and adolescents.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills characterized by empathy and a child-centered approach.

• Knowledge of local community resources that can support families in accessing additional mental health services.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
