Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct individual and group therapy sessions. Our supportive telehealth setting allows you to connect with patients in their homes, enhancing accessibility and comfort during their treatment journey. The role requires flexibility, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM , occasionally including evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, developing tailored treatment plans based on each patient's unique history and recovery goals.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy during individual counseling sessions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations struggling with substance use disorders. You will engage with individuals at various stages of their recovery journey, tailoring your approach to meet their specific emotional and psychological needs. Our center serves a wide range of clients, including those with co-occurring mental health disorders, requiring an adaptable and empathetic therapeutic style.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, specifically within the context of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a non-judgmental and supportive demeanor.

• Capability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality and ethical compliance.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
