We offer a range of schedule options, including 4x10 and 5x8 shifts, within our operational hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children, families, and groups, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral issues.

• Conduct comprehensive client interviews to gather pertinent social, personal, health, and environmental information that informs treatment planning.

• Assess, evaluate, and treat emotional and behavioral challenges within the scope of your practice, facilitating effective interventions for clients.
\n
• Design and implement programs and activities aimed at meeting clients' social and emotional needs, ensuring tailored approaches that enhance their mental health.
\n
• Manage cognitive, emotional, and behavioral cases by providing crisis intervention, short-term resolutions, and appropriate referrals to external resources.
\n
• Establish therapeutic relationships that foster trust and respect to facilitate positive client outcomes.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment services, adjusting methodologies as needed to improve client satisfaction and success.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in line with established protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Keep an organized caseload, ensuring all client documentation is timely and reflective of the services provided.

• Partake in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance therapeutic techniques and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and their families, providing essential therapeutic support that addresses a variety of issues, including developmental delays, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the mental health outcomes of vulnerable populations, ensuring that they receive the care and tools necessary to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must be a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of social work or a related area, particularly in therapeutic settings.

• Strong foundational knowledge of the treatment methodologies for behavioral health issues such as depression, mood disorders, substance use, family dynamics, grief, and loss.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing clinical counseling in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with community resources and a network of referral options that can support client needs.

• Experience with evidence-based practices in psychotherapy and familiarity with assessment tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 – 104,000 per year, commensurate with your qualifications and expertise.
