Technical Sales Manager

Position Summary We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Ontic's Chatsworth, CA site. The role reports to the Head of Sales and is based onsite. Responsibilities As a Technical Sales Manager, you will: Maximize the value of all product lines by engaging with customers to capture orders, improve profitability, reduce inventory, and enhance the customer experience. Create and lead sales campaigns, expanding customer knowledge, and effectively extending the usable lifetime of the product lines. Increase organic sales. Educate customers, DOD, and government agencies regarding the product portfolio. Negotiate proposals. Collate In‑Service Fleet Intelligence. Prepare and manage daily customer quotations and orders. Ensure on‑time order deliveries. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree is required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the Aerospace Industry. Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace Industry. U.S. DoD Service background is preferred. Experience negotiating commercial contracts. Experience with government FAR/DFARS. Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations related to the Aerospace Industry. Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM Dynamics, MS Teams, etc. Must be able to work independently and travel within a region or internationally. Broad commercial and business awareness, including ability to understand cost‑benefit analysis and long‑term reduced total cost. Benefits Comprehensive medical insurance.
