Work Environment

As part of our onsite rehabilitation center located in Bradenton, you will be working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care, conducting thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and function.
• Document all aspects of patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, treatment outcomes, and billing information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge by implementing therapeutic techniques, engaging in continuous assessment of patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and all members of the healthcare team to ensure a cohesive approach to care and to address any concerns or questions.
• Stay informed of and comply with all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare policies, related to physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and other rehabilitation needs. Your ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique physical and emotional requirements of each patient will be essential to their progress. You will provide specialized care to both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring age-appropriate interventions are utilized effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Current and valid Florida Physical Therapy License.
• Strong foundational knowledge in anatomy and physiology, essential for accurate assessments and effective treatment.
• Ability and experience working with pediatric patients, employing suitable strategies for this population.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and other specialized therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
