Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will play a key role in providing therapeutic services that include but are not limited to:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, creating a warm and therapeutic environment where rapport can flourish and clients feel safe to explore their mental health issues.

• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring tailored, person-centered treatment plans for clients, which include actionable goals and measurable outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Completing comprehensive intake assessments to understand the needs and background of each client during their first visit.
\n
• Participating in individual supervision sessions for professional growth and reflective practice.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Fostering a growth mindset by staying updated with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth and young adults, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse challenges. Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Proven ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working directly with psychiatric patients and/or individuals facing substance abuse issues.

• Previous experience in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records and basic keyboarding abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
