Our team comprises experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant dedicated to promoting a high standard of rehabilitation services. We focus primarily on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring personalized care tailored to individual needs.Work EnvironmentThe position is onsite at our outpatient office in Jersey City, NJ. As part of our close-knit team of healthcare professionals, you will be working in an engaging and collaborative environment. Our practice prioritizes mutual support among team members, allowing each therapist to thrive while effectively addressing patient needs. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a sustainable work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and specific rehabilitation needs.Manage a focused caseload, seeing one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives dedicated attention.Develop comprehensive treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices to optimize patients' outcomes.Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and recovery.Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatments as necessary to meet evolving needs.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.Educate patients about their conditions and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, wellness strategies, and exercises they can continue at home.Provide motivation and emotional support to patients throughout their recovery process to ensure adherence to therapy regimes.Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest research and techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation.Patient Population / Client FocusAt TheraSense, we cater to a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Patients benefit from a personalized approach, which emphasizes evidence-based treatments that are designed for optimal recovery tailored to their unique needs and lifestyles.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license.Strong competencies in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise protocols.Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, for patient documentation and management.Preferred ExperienceExperience in an outpatient orthopedic practice, demonstrating a solid understanding of rehabilitation protocols and patient management.Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.Proven ability to conduct patient assessments and deliver high-quality and cost-effective treatment plans.Experience in motivating patients and encouraging lifestyle modifications for long-term health benefits.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
