You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, all committed to delivering holistic patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, disabilities, and rehabilitation needs.Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress to optimize outcomes.Utilize hands-on therapy methods, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.Continuously monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate communication among the healthcare team.Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.Stay informed about the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and integrate evidence-based practices into daily routines.Patient Population / Client FocusAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Summit Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes athletes, surgical recovery patients, and individuals with work-related injuries, all requiring tailored rehabilitation programs to restore function and mobility.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Valid and current New Jersey Physical Therapist license.Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic care preferred.Strong communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues.Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant healthcare technologies.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.Familiarity with specialized therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment.Additional certifications in orthopedics or sports therapy are advantageous.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
