TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44195!

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day shifts, rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 12 months permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday Description: The Med/Surg Tele RN position involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment. There is potential to float to various units to care for the same patient population. Shifts may vary to meet the operational needs of the facility, but the goal is to honor the traveler's preferred schedule when possible. The traveler will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment during orientation, achieving an acceptable score on both is necessary. Candidates must provide one professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Experience in a similar specialty is preferred to be within one location but is not mandatory. All required certifications must be active and submitted before the application. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of the start date. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will impact candidate submissions. This role may require participation in annual competency assessments and additional training modules. Travelers who remain on contract for a minimum of one year are required to complete an annual hands-on competency assessment.
