Work Environment\n

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring you meet the needs of your patients effectively. Typically, the work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs, ultimately leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Delivering evidence-based interventions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address the unique challenges faced by individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitating psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing common mental health concerns, thus enhancing patient engagement and support.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals within the practice to ensure a cohesive treatment framework that meets the holistic needs of each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate support and resources when faced with acute challenges.

• Educating patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take ownership of their wellness journey.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal legal, ethical, and professional standards.

• Actively engaging in case consultations, contributing to team meetings, and participating in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Your expertise in individualized therapy will cater to both adolescents and adults within the community, addressing their specific needs, and guiding them towards recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, best practice treatment modalities, and a strong grasp of therapeutic approaches relevant to the target population.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust swiftly with clients.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits\n
