Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at South Shore Medical Center, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions providing individualized support to clients, addressing mental health issues through evidence-based practices.

• Utilizing your expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.

• Collaborating with our administrative team on client onboarding, including insurance verification, billing, and maintaining compliance with all necessary audits and regulations.

• Documenting session notes and treatment progress accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a broad spectrum of clients, including adults aged 18 and above, often dealing with complex emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. We prioritize assisting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and aim to address the unique needs of diverse populations, including those facing men’s mental health issues. Your role will significantly impact these individuals, guiding them through their journeys to improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this LCSW position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license valid in the State of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience.
\n
• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, specifically CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Experience providing psychotherapy for individual clients aged 18 and older, particularly within diverse and minority populations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
