Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs.

• Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and client goals.

• Delivering tailored therapeutic interventions through various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or person-centered therapy, all aimed at promoting personal growth and emotional well-being.

• Setting specific therapeutic goals and systematically monitoring client progress through regular follow-up sessions.

• Providing teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for clients facing challenges in attending in-person sessions.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation to comply with ethical and organizational standards.

• Participating in team meetings and case discussions for collaborative care efforts and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and various life transitions. Your expertise will help clients cultivate resilience and improve their overall mental health. Addressing the unique challenges faced by residents of Boston, Massachusetts, particularly those from underserved communities, will be a significant focus of your work.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required, with a Master’s or doctoral degree preferred.

While a Bachelor’s degree is a requirement, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate will be prioritized, especially those with prior experience in community health or private practice settings. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation software is a plus. Experience in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
