Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Tampa, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting patients on their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain mobility, function, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and spans over 5,000 square feet, designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant, all working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Tampa outpatient facility, where you will have access to advanced rehabilitation equipment and resources. You will be engaging with a diverse patient population, providing services Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our collaborative practice emphasizes teamwork, allowing for an exchange of ideas and techniques that enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals and needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their conditions.
• Manage an individual caseload, dedicating time to each patient to ensure focused and effective treatment.
• Deliver tailored physical therapy interventions that include manual therapy techniques and exercise-based regimens.
• Design and implement personalized care plans using evidence-based practices to enhance patients' overall recovery experience.
• Motivate and educate patients about their treatment goals, encouraging adherence to prescribed exercise and wellness programs.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on measurable outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions covered by private medical insurance. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your approach will focus on promoting functional independence and reducing pain through non-surgical intervention techniques.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create and implement effective exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Proficiency with WebPT EMR Software is a plus, helping streamline patient documentation and care coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with sports rehabilitation and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
