Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our outpatient office in Brandon, you will work onsite within a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The clinic operates in a modern facility designed to create a comfortable and efficient treatment atmosphere. Our normal work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing ample time to deliver quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' physical conditions and needs, setting measurable goals collaboratively with each patient.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and function.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and therapeutic exercise, catered to the unique requirements of each case.
• Create and lead personalized fitness and wellness programs that promote sustained recovery and health improvement beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal function through hands-on guidance and encouragement.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, utilizing electronic health record systems for streamlined communication.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and additional healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for each patient.
• Regularly assess and adapt treatment interventions based on patients' progress, ensuring continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults facing musculoskeletal injuries and complex orthopedic conditions. Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain, and athletes undergoing rehabilitation. You will apply your specialized skills to foster recovery and enable each patient to reach their unique physical goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or related fields is mandatory, emphasizing the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
• Demonstrated ability to assess patients accurately and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
