Serenity Motion Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team at our rehabilitation center located in Brandon, Florida. This role is essential for helping our patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is situated in a vibrant part of Brandon, Florida, characterized by easy access to amenities and a welcoming community atmosphere. Our onsite facility offers a lively and encouraging workspace where therapists can interact with colleagues and patients in real-time. The team currently consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), allowing for a collaborative approach in delivering care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their goals, needs, and abilities related to their physical therapy journey.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each session is personalized and effective in addressing the patient's unique circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that improve patients' ranges of motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications and minimizing the need for surgical interventions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient goals.
• Design specialized fitness and wellness programs to empower patients in maintaining their health and enhancing their functional capabilities.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment processes to foster independence and confidence in their abilities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapist will primarily work with an orthopedic patient population seeking rehabilitation for post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mobility enhancement. As a therapist with us, you will provide individualized attention that focuses not only on physical rehabilitation but also on instilling a commitment to a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Proven record of no disciplinary actions taken against your professional license.
• Strong knowledge and skills in manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional ability in developing and implementing personalized exercise protocols catered to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation and communication efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred, equipping you with the necessary skills to handle diverse patient cases effectively.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, enhancing your ability to address complex patient profiles.

Compensation and Benefits

Serenity Motion Therapy offers a highly competitive compensation package ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
