Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing a structured work schedule while allowing for flexibility in managing patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' goals and requirements, formulating individualized care plans based on evidence.
• Manage a patient caseload, ensuring that you provide focused attention to one patient per hour, facilitating optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize appropriate manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance physical performance.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, motivating them and encouraging adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and progress to ensure continuous improvement in services provided.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Prepare detailed documentation of patient care services, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and local regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and enhance their quality of life through targeted physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• Possess a valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.
• A track record of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and achieving favorable treatment outcomes.
• Previous experience fostering interdisciplinary collaborative practices would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
