Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Clinic Full Time

Position Overview Active Movement Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position based in our Riverview, Florida outpatient office. In this role, you will be directly involved in the rehabilitation of patients facing various physical limitations due to injury, illness, cognitive impairments, and environmental challenges. Our outpatient clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to foster effective rehabilitation practices. As a member of our clinical team, you will work in a patient-centric atmosphere where collaboration and innovation are encouraged. The majority of your work will take place onsite, allowing for active engagement with patients and direct involvement in their rehabilitation progress. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health, addressing their specific limitations and formulating a tailored Plan of Care (POC).

Engage in peer-to-peer consultations with other therapists to enhance service standards and maintain clinical appropriateness prior to final reviews by the Medical Director.

Document and review clinical information from the Coordinator, ensuring that evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans adhere to established guidelines.

Evaluate the medical necessity of treatments and monitor each patient's progress based on clinical efficacy and recognized standards.

Provide educational feedback to therapists, identifying trends and opportunities for professional development.

Patients may include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, neurological impairments, or those requiring physical rehabilitation due to chronic conditions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric populations, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of children, adolescents, and their families.

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.

Competence in trigger point therapy techniques and familiarity with comprehensive treatment methodologies.

Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and protocols.
