Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an engaging and dynamic environment. Our work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical abilities, discuss their goals, and establish individualized rehabilitation plans that focus on restoring motion and enhancing performance.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure dedicated attention to each individual, fostering trust and effective treatment outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs, to maximize patients' recovery and mobility.
• Design and implement evidence-based safety protocols and interventions that cater to current rehabilitation standards.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing strength training, flexibility, and overall well-being.
• Complete accurate documentation of all services provided using our EMR software, ensuring precise tracking of patient records and treatment adjustments.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, ensuring communication between practitioners aligned with patient goals.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives for pain management, minimizing reliance on medication where applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, and those seeking rehabilitation for chronic pain. Your focus will be on orthopedic outpatient care, where you will provide compassionate support and tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve their specific physical health objectives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no sanctions or board actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of manual therapy techniques.
• Adept at designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, to streamline documentation processes.
• Strong foundation in current physical therapy techniques supported by the latest research and best practices in the field.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to contribute effectively from day one.
• Advanced certifications or additional specialization in sports medicine or manual therapy techniques will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive at USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
